Through our journey together, we have found resources and organizations that work directly with prisoners and their families in a variety of a ways. Whether it’s periodicals, education programs or activism, this section is meant to provide a starting point for your journey into navigating the carceral environment.
Some of the items mentioned here may not be available to everyone, or may have a cost associated with them. What we’ve learned is that before subscribing your loved one to a periodical or program, have a conversation with them, along with their current facility to ensure they can receive the item you’re sending.
While we want to provide every possible avenue of support to everyone, we have to be selective with the resources we do provide. As such, this list is not exhaustive and many of the sites and organizations will have additional links to other resources you may find beneficial for your unique situation! Take your time and find what works best for you.
